Wowing residents every day—showing up for them in joyful moments as well as tough times—is what drives Otto in his position as Culinary Director. His passion is connecting with both residents and his team through food, which is why commitment is such a strong core value for him.

“Cooking is what I love, and getting the job done is important to me,” he says. Otto’s career reflects his talents, with study at culinary school, 12 years in hotels and hospitality as an executive chef, and five years in senior living.

When he’s not in the kitchen inspiring exceptional cuisine, Otto can be found outdoors, preferably on a mountain bike. He also is a big fan of Robert DeNiro, and names Casino as his go-to movie. Spending time with two children and a beagle named Lady also keeps him busy.
