Brianna (Bre) Rose, Human Resources Operations Manager
It didn’t take long for Bre to feel right at home. “Village Crossing immediately stood out to me as a community that genuinely values dignity, autonomy, and respect,” she says. “Right away, I could feel the warm, intentional, and deeply resident-centered culture.”
The core value of compassion blends perfectly with Bre’s duties as HR Operations Manager.
“Compassion is essential in senior living, because our work not only impacts residents, but also their families and the staff who care for them. Practicing compassion means taking the time to listen, understand individual needs, and respond with patience, empathy, and respect,” Bre says. “It builds trust, strengthens relationships, and ensures that both care and decisions are made with humanity at the forefront.”
In her role, Bre most enjoys building relationships with staff across all levels, helping to create and sustain a positive culture and strong sense of teamwork. “I find fulfillment in supporting others through challenges and guiding them with compassion and encouragement.”
Connecting with others and learning their stories is something Bre also enjoys in her free time. “it helps make everyday moments more interesting and meaningful.” She’s also a big fan of comfort food, and likes to slow her mind down with a paint-by-number set and calming music. Or, you might find her watching a good show, spending time with friends, and exercising in the gym.
Bre earned an Associate Degree in Psychology from Hagerstown Community College and is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Salisbury University. She and her boyfriend stay busy with four cats, one dog, and a snake.
Perfect vacation would be the mountains of Vermont, in the spring, with a cup of coffee. “Just quiet, fresh air, and a good view.”
